Laura Mott's advertising career began at BBDO, New York as a New Business Account Executive having worked on accounts such as Apple, Pepsi, and Lever Brothers. After many years in New York City she moved to the East End full time. The city was less enticing and the beauty and serenity in the Hamptons was more and more appealing. She was quite familiar with the area as she spent every summer of her life in Montauk as a child.
She utilized her advertising experience and knowledge of computer designing working at Hamptons real estate firm Allan M. Schneider & Associates. There she learned the real estate business. She developed what soon became the norm for all real estate companies – to have an “in-house advertising department.” After a number of years at AMS she went on to become the Advertising Director of the Hamptons region at Prudential Douglas Elliman.
In 2009, Laura moved to Town & Country Real Estate concluding the corporate world was not a good fit for her at that time. As Town & Country Real Estate's Director of Marketing she is hands-on and oversees all marketing efforts on behalf of the company and its 180 agents. “Servicing our agents is the same as our agents servicing their customers and clients,” Laura says. “It all comes down to professionalism, knowledge, experience, and skills.”
