Sherri Demchuk-Dauer

Licensed Real Estate Salesperson

It's very simple. Read the bumper sticker: "North Fork Native!"

Sherri was born and raised in Mattituck, having grown up on her grandparents' 20+ acre farm, "Happy Acres," in Mattituck -- the geographic heart of the North Fork. Summertime as a child on the farm involved a lot of hard work. Her fondest childhood memories were candling the chicken eggs with Grandpa and hanging off the back of the crop planter with Grandma. Together over the years they carefully dropped thousands of rows of corn seed in the soil while Grandpa motored them through the fields. Many locals will fondly remember Sherri from when she worked the farm stand "Happy Acres" on Old Sound Avenue.

Today Sherri continues to live in Mattituck with her son Lucas and daughter Olivia. She also has a four legged child, Diesel the bulldog. One of her greatest passions is cooking. Her home-made Ukrainian pierogis are just out of this world!

Sherri has been a licensed real estate sales person since 1998 and came to work for us in 2001 as our administrative assistant. Sherri has also listed and sold properties.

"Under All is the Land" begins the preamble to the National Association of Realtors Code of Ethics. This opening phrase means much to Sherri since she has tilled, planted, harvested and sells the local land that she grew up on out here on the beautiful North Fork.

If you are new to the area, stop in the Mattituck office and let Sherri give you a crash course on getting around the North Fork. She will teach you all of the secret back roads and have you zipping from Aquebogue to Greenport in 11 minutes flat in the middle of the summer... unless you get stuck behind one of those tractors from "Happy Acres."

Those North Fork Natives still rule.
