Linda Batiancela, seasoned veteran real estate broker in the Hamptons, has been successfully matching buyers and sellers and tenant and landlords together for over 30 years. As a broker, she has been with Town & Country Real Estate longer than any other sales professional, starting with the company when it first opened the doors nine years ago.

Prior to her real estate career, Linda was an equally successful restaurateur: partner owner/manger of the Swamp/Annex for six years and Magnolia in Sag Harbor for five years.

Through all her varied business endeavors Linda continues to learn more and more about sales and customer service. As she puts it, "In a competitive market, no matter what the business is, service and the ability to understand the needs and wants of your customers and clients is what people remember most. Linda lives in Sag Harbor and feels fortunate to live and work in a paradise called the Hamptons. When free time avails itself Linda enjoys her hobbies of cooking and traveling.

In the busy lives we all lead with email overload, it takes a lot to make me sit down and put 'pen to paper.' However on this occasion I have to acknowledge the exceptional service I have received from Linda Batiancela. She is a remarkable individual and it has been a real pleasure working with her on a number of deals recently. She rented my home this past summer for the second year and handled the transaction flawlessly. She then went on to sell my home to my summer tenants and once again proved herself a master negotiator in ensuring a meeting of the minds. Her approach is calm, measured and she is a true professional. At all times during this transaction I have felt she is invested in a successful outcome for all parties and she has always been the voice of reason. As I plan for my closing next week, I realize without any shadow of doubt, that Linda is solely responsible for keeping the deal going during some hiccups. Her approach has been both reassuring and calming and she has gone above and beyond to support me during this potentially stressful experience. Most recently, we lost the rental house we were due to move into for the next year. With 10 days to go, she found me a great year round rental in the village and also negotiated that entire deal. This was made all the more complicated by the lack of time we had and the fact that the owner of the rental house lives on the other side of the world in Australia. Even with a 16 hour time difference, Linda negotiated on my behalf and we had a signed lease in less than 48 hours after viewing the property. I know the landlord was also blown away by Linda,s diligence as his emails were being answered by her until midnight in order to get the deal concluded. It is sadly rare but extremely refreshing when one encounters someone that is such a total professional and so committed to thier profession. She is a credit to your company and a real asset to the real estate business in Sag Harbor. Our experience with Linda was fantastic and I cannot say enough good things about her as a broker. She was incredibly professional, highly knowledgeable of not only the property we purchased but also properties in the surrounding area and knows the "in's and out's" of how the Hamptons work and what it takes to get things done. Linda was incredibly responsive and would have an answer by phone call, email or text within minutes of us even asking. Linda was a also a great intermediary between us and the seller and worked to get both side comfortable with pricing terms that made sense for both sides and ultimately a deal. Being 1st time home buyers, we didn't have much clue what was going on. Linda helped us feel much more comfortable with the entire process and explained in great detail why certain things needed to be done, how they worked and the broader process of buying a home. Even post the closing on our home, Linda has continued to check in on us and help us out with all the little things that can seem daunting at first glance when you dont know what you are doing (power, water, trash, building permits, clearing, etc).
