Amy Forst
Licensed Real Estate Salesperson Licensed as Amy Baiata-ForstAmy Forst, a resident of East Hampton since 1993 and a principal partner at Forst Construction since 2001, has a depth of knowledge and experience unmatched by most in the Hamptons real estate industry. Combine this with her degree in hospitality from Johnson & Wales University, as a licensed real estate salesperson with Town & Country Real Estate Amy has a wealth of skills that are invaluable to her clientele.
"Working to help someone find a home, build a house, or even a second home enhances their life and enhances mine," says Amy. "I'm happy to invest my time and energy to sell a house. Even a challenge like a short sale is fulfilling. When you see the relief of a seller, it's self-fulfilling."
After 20 years of being in the food and beverage business, seven years of which were as owner of Barefoot Contessa in East Hampton, Amy decided to shift into a career in real estate. "I love dealing with a variety of people. I believe my nature and knowledge bring them comfort in their real estate transaction," says Amy.
Her clients and customers count on Amy to close the deal. "After multiple sales with other local realtors I found Amy to be above other in terms of local knowledge, expertise, responsiveness, and negotiation skills," says client Ray Serva. "If you had any questions or concerns she was always there. It was never question of whether she would respond or get questions answered promptly and taken care of professionally. This sale was particularly long, she did more work for us in several months than our attorney did in a year. Without Amy we could still be working on the sale. She was always there smiling, always ready to make things happen."
Amy continues to be very involved in her community by volunteering at Most Holy Trinity Church, Girl Scouts, LIBFRE (Long Island Businesses For Responsible Energy), and the Hamptons Junior Lifeguard Association.
